Geely Gleagle IG concept

Geely displayed a more production ready Gleagle IG (Intelligent Geely) show car at this year's Beijing Motor Show. First unveiled at last year's Auto China in Shanghai, the 2010 concept was a mildly reworked version of the same diminutive package.
While two-thirds of the original concept's design was created Nova Design (a Taiwanese design company based in Shanghai) Geely's designers revised the design in house for 2010. The concept now incorporates an additional gullwing-style door on the driver's side leading to an entirely new 2+2 seat layout, instead of the 3+1 seat layout of its predecessor. The central driving position and corresponding IP have been replaced buy a more conventional center stack and steering column-mounted gauges, reminiscent of those on the Mini Cooper, take pride of place ahead of the driver. The lightweight floating seats have also replaced by traditional seats front and rear.
